Hey everyone!
Marc, from P1TL here. I wanted to share with you guys the importance of datalogging and understanding how to datalog during the dial in process.
Our 4 tuners are good at what they do and they all work off of saved files that are proven with trial and error. With that being said, the dial in process is the most important part of tuning a car.
I actually double check my work. This is my process that I've gotten great results with:
3 minute idle
Rev sweep
5 to 10 minute drive of normal driving
Interstate driving of about 5 minutes
Wot pull
The wot pull will be done a few times to not only dial in enrichment, but to dial in the exhaust and intake cam angles to ensure the safest and highest power.
After all dial in's are completed, we ask that you send in datalogs at least 1x every other week for review. Stay in contact with your tuner, sometimes, its as easy as a simple email asking for a quick datalog review.
Our team's main priority is to make sure that your car is healthy, and you enjoy it.
Until next time!
Marc
